Our story

Aventura Ecuador was born from a deep commitment to a country of volcanoes, páramos and high-altitude forests, and from a desire to share its landscapes authentically, away from standard itineraries.

The agency was founded in 2001 in Quito, born from the meeting of Beto and Carole, a Franco-Ecuadorian couple passionate about travel and mountaineering. Over the years, the team has grown and developed fine expertise of the territory, from the Andean peaks to the Galápagos, passing through the Amazon and the Pacific coast. Today, the agency brings together around ten employees based in the Los Chillos valley, in Quito, and a network of English-speaking guides and local experts. The commitment to responsible tourism has been materialized through membership in the Responsible Tourism Association (ATR).

Beto runs the agency with constant commitment to service and attention to each traveler. Alongside him, Carole coordinates client relationships and itinerary design, working with guides who accompany travelers in the field. Glacier trekking, mountain climbing, mountain biking, rafting, horseback riding, or more contemplative exploration: each trip adjusts to the pace and desires of those experiencing it.

Here, we don't replicate itineraries. We create journeys that reflect who you are.

Yes, as much as possible. Changes made more than 30 days before departure are generally free of charge (excluding hotel rate differences). As your departure approaches, some bookings become less flexible — we always inform you of your options before confirmation.
